SEYF promotes the rights of self-development among its target groups of young people and refugees, by forstering the respect of human rights.
SEYF took part in the Erasmus Plus programme “Sexual and Reproductive Health – Knowledge Beats Taboos” coordinated by the organization NGO Prima, approved by EACEA in the frame of Erasmus+ Youth in Action program Western Balkan Window.

THE PROJECT
During the project “Sexual and Reproductive Health – Knowledge Beats Taboos” the partnership worked we worked on beating prejudices regarding sexuality and reproduction thanks to sharing scientific information and point of view and opening all those issues that are, more or less, in all our societies connected with shame, fear, feeling of guilty, shortly said – taboos. Trainings and study visit which we attended, raised our capacities and competences to fight against these taboos in work with, in fists place, young people.

THE LOCAL ACTIVITIES
SEYF, within the frame of the project SARH - “Sexual and Reproductive Health – Knowledge Beats Taboos” realized local activities aimed at promoting actions of information and prevention, based on its main target grous:
>> Workshops in refugees centers and schools for the dissemination of proper information about the project themes and for providing the target with more knowledge and healthy lifestyles on sexual education;
>> Activities involving local young people for promoting reproductive ans sexual rights, by also involving local professional and decision makers.
