G.R.E.T.A. - Giovani Rivoluzioni Educative a Tutela dell'Ambiente è stato un progetto per promuovere il Dialogo tra giovani e decisori politici nell'ambito di tematiche ambientali.

Giovani Rivoluzioni Educative a Tutela dell’Ambiente (G.R.E.T.A.) è stato un progetto di Dialogo Strutturato - incontri tra Giovani e Decision makers promosso da SEYF nell’ambito del programma europeo Erasmus+ coordinato dall'organizzazione italiana SEYF, in partenariato con il Liceo "G. Comi" di Tricase.

Il progetto è rientrato inoltre nella decima edizione della Settimana europea della gioventù, svoltasi dal 24 al 30 maggio, ideata dalla Commissione Europea con l’obiettivo di promuovere la partecipazione dei giovani attraverso i tre pilastri della Strategia dell’UE.

G.R.E.T.A. è nato come follow up di esperienze precedenti maturate da SEYF per la messa in azione del Dialogo Strutturato, in cui i giovani coinvolti sono stati stimolati a prendere parte alle iniziative dei Fridays For Future, simbolicamente rappresentate dalla giovane Greta Thunberg.

Dalle esperienze dei friday's for future si è venuto via via a delineare un quadro in cui i giovani, da una parte, si rendevano conto di essere “attivatori” di un bisogno di cambiamento, mentre dall'altra, i decision makers non emergevano come figure capaci di trasformare il bisogno manifestato dalle giovani generazioni in politiche con un reale impatto.

GRETA è stato implementato quindi con l'obiettivo di ripensare le logiche d’interazione: l’attivazione di un dialogo con l’utenza richiede alle Istituzioni il passaggio da un modello di comunicazione che va VERSO il giovane cittadino (up->bottom) a uno CON il cittadino basato su interazione, ascolto reale, partecipazione e co-creazione di proposte che si traducono in azioni concrete e possibilmente misurabili (bottom->up).

Un territorio al passo coi tempi, più green e coerente con le proprie vocazioni di sviluppo sostenibile e con tutti i suoi attori messi in rete in un dialogo efficiente, definibile quindi come territorio Green, in cui si tiene conto delle necessità di ogni attore in prospettive di lungo termine.

Giovani Rivoluzioni Educative a Tutela dell’Ambiente (G.R.E.T.A.) was a Structured Dialogue project - meetings between young people and decision makers in the youth sector. The project was planned within the European Erasmus + program (KA3) and was coordinated by the Italian organization SEYF, in partnerhsip with the High-School Liceo "G. Comi" from Tricase (LE).

The project was also part of the 10th edition of the European Youth Week, held from 24 to 30 May, supported by the European Commission with the aim of promoting the participation of young people through the three pillars of the EU Strategy.

G.R.E.T.A. has arisen as a follow up of previous experiences gained by SEYF for the implementation of the Structured Dialogue between young people and policy makers. During this previous experiences the young people involved were stimulated to take part in the initiatives of the Fridays For Future, symbolically represented by the young icon Greta Thunberg.

From the experiences of friday's for future a picture has gradually emerged. In one side, young people realized that they were "activators" of a need for change, while on the other side, decision makers did not emerge as figures capable of transforming the need expressed by the younger generations into policies with a real impact.

GRETA was therefore implemented with the aim of rethinking the logic of interaction: the activation of a dialogue with users requires the institutions to switch from a communication model that goes TOWARDS the young citizen (up-> bottom) to one TOGETHER WITH the citizen based on interaction, real listening, participation and co-creation of proposals that translate into concrete and possibly measurable actions (bottom-> up).

A territory in step with the times, greener and coherent with its own sustainable development vocations and with all its actors networked in an efficient dialogue: a Territory therefore that may finally be considered as a Green territory, in which the needs of each actor are taken into account in a long-term perspective.
