Periplus 2.0 has been a Partnership Building Activity for youth workers realized in Lecce/Italy (17-24 november 2015) in the frame of the Erasmus Plus Programme and hosted by the Italian network SEYF. It involved 27 people coming from 13 European Organizations from Italy, Spain, Portugal, Bulgaria, Malta and France, Germany, Czech Republic, United Kingdom, Ireland, Findalnd, Sweden and Estonia.

The project actively involves 27 beneficiaries through the participation of 2 participants per NGO: specifically, a youth worker and a board/decision member, in order to recreate and stimulate the dialogue between the different actors in the youth system.

Periplus 2.0 is a concrete follow up of a previous networking activity (Periplus) and represents the results of a longlasting international cooperation developed in the youth field from 2010 to 2014. As the ethimology says, Periplus comes from the Latinization of an ancient Greek word (periplous) that literally means circumnavigation and it refers to the Captain’s diary. On the same line, Periplus is intented to be a story of the young side of Europe through the construction of reliable partnership of European youth organizations; a tale about the youth work in each EU country; a novel about the tools at disposal of the youth for increasing occupational opportunities.

Thus Periplus 2.0, as a follow up of previous successful activites, created a new concept of partnership based on:

- Participatory approach: the partnership is intended to be long-lasting and built up on the practice of participatory planning;

 - Sustainability: the partnership fostered European Citizenship (think global), bringing the added value of each country and NGO (act local);

- Innovation: the partnership has been o be implemented on a mobile APP which will stimulate partner to be involved and active in the planning, development and implementation of EVS proejcts.

Periplus investigated the world of youth and youth work in order to stimulate the creation of new projects within the Erasmus Plus Programme, within the development of EVS proejcts, through the analysis of the most appropriate actions to the different

realities and situations. Periplus, as a Partnership Building Activity, has been based upon the implementation of non-formal activities that stimulated a confident climate and will create a strong mood for best practices and strong (human, cultural and professional) relations.

 
Periplus 2.0 è un'attività di costituzione di rete tra operatori giovanili, animatori socioeducativi e ONG attive nel settore della gioventù realizzata da SEYF nell'ambito del programma Erasmus Plus, a Lecce, dal 17 al 24 novembre 2015. Il progetto ha coinvolto 27 operatori da 13 paesi europei: Italia, Spagna, Portogallo, Bulgaria, Malta, Francia, Germania, Repubblica Ceca, Regno Unito, Irlanda, Finlandia, Svezia, Estonia.

Periplus 2.0 è stato un concreto follow up di una precedente Attività di Costituzione di Partnerhsip che già costituito un risultato tangibile di un assiduo lavoro di cooperazione internazionale sviluppatasi tra il 2010 e il 2014. Come racconta la stessa etimologia della parola, Periplus è la latinizzazione di un'antica parola greca (periplous) che letteralmente indicava la circumnavigazione e, dunque, i diari di bordo scritti durante i viaggi esplorativi per mare. Allo stesso modo, Periplus intende essere la storia della parte più giovane d'Europa attraverso la costruzione di un partenariato affidabilie e sostenibile di organizzazioni attive nel settore Gioventù; un racconto del lavoro giovanile nei paesi EU; una narrazione degli strumenti a disposizione dei giovani.

Periplus 2.0, come follow up di una precedente attività di messa in rete, ha riformulato il concetto di rete e partenariato che sia basato su:

- un approccio partecipativo: il partenariato intende durare nel tempo e promuovere la progettazione partecipata tra i promotori coinvolti nel triennio 2015-17;

- un sistema sostenibile: il partenariato ha promosso la cittadinanza europa (pensa globale), portando il valore aggiunto in ogni paese e ONG (agisci locale);

- una formula innovativa: il partenariato ha creato strumenti stabili e digitali, ovvero un'APP per dispositivi mobili e tablet che stimolerà i partner nella pianificazione e implementazione della progettazione di azioni SVE, coerenti con linee metodologiche utili a valorizzare l’apprendimento esperienziale secondo i principi della non formal learning.

Periplus indagherà l'universo Gioventù, del lavoro giovanile e delle politiche giovanili al fine di stimolare la creazione di nuovi progetti nell'ambito del programma Erasmus Plus, in ambito SVE, analizzando e valutando le azioni più appropriate per ogni contesto locale di riferimento.

Periplus, attività di costituzione di rete, ha esplorato nuove metodologie non formali che hanno stimolato un clima di squadra attraverso un approccio 'team building' mutuato dall'educazione oudoor ed esperienziale, producendo un ambiente di crescita in continua evoluzione e in una dimensione di costante apprendimento
